Weekly Breakdown
Fasted Cardio Tracker: 7/7
Another week without breaking the chain ☺️. Nothing changed here, I kept the same setup as last week, alternating between my walking pad on some days and wearing a 10 lb weighted vest going up and down an aerobic platform on other days.
Strength Training: 5/5
Completed all 5 strength training sessions ✅, and I’m so proud of that because this week was tough! It feels incredibly rewarding to mark a workout as done, especially on the days when you don’t feel like showing up. On those days, I remind myself that EVERY SINGLE WORKOUT COUNTS. I think about how me doing this workout (or not) will dictate how many inches I lose—or don’t—this week. That thought alone immediately gets me off my a$$ and into the gym. 💪😊
Tabata Sessions: 2/2
Same routine as last week, and it’ll stay this way for several more weeks, consistency is key! If you missed it, here’s the Tabata routine I’ve been following:
Meal Plan: 6/7
Just like last week, I had one planned cheat day and stayed on track for all six days this week. I do have to say my meal plans are pretty yummy so it is easy to stay on track.
TIP: Chew sugar-free gum between meals—it helps curb your appetite and keeps you going until the next meal!
Next week I’ll include a collage of what I ate, I forgot to take pics this week, sorry🫣
Let’s see how we did this week…
Measurements

Down another 0.5 inches off my waist this week—yee haw! 🐎
It seems like my waist and hips are the only areas consistently losing fat right now, but that’s on trend for me. I’ve always lost weight faster around my waist than anywhere else, so this is right on track!
Total inches lost since I started Shredding for CC = 5.45 inches!
Here is the screenshot of my progress since I started this fat loss journey back in late January. I am so happy to see that progress bar move closer and closer to my target goal for each of these body parts ☺️Yes! Let’s go!! 💪🏽
Weekly Review
⊕ Victories & Successes
What are you pleased with? What went right?
With St Patrick’s Day 🍀 parties all over the place, I was able to stand strong and not yield into temptation.
Stayed true to my diet, and hit all my workouts. The routine is working great, no need for any updates or changes at this time.
On the days I was not able to read I added an extra cardio session, don’t ask me why, I don’t know I just did it 😎
Additional Changes made this week: Dealing with Bloating
As you may know, I have significantly increased my protein intake to help me build muscle, but unfortunately one of the side effects of this is bloating. It is NOT a comfortable feeling and typically fixes itself on its own (at least in my experience), but I just couldn’t stand it anymore so I added a few things to my routine and there is noticeable decrease in my bloating; I feel lighter and a lot more comfortable.
Try this regimen if you are bloated and see if it works for you.
Here is my bloating regimen:
Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV): Mix 1 tablespoon in water and drink 10-15 minutes before meals to help increase stomach acid and support digestion.
PS: Use a straw to protect your teeth!
Protease-Specific Enzyme Supplement: I’ve been taking this digestive enzyme supplement to help with protein digestion. I take it before my most protein-heavy meal of the day, which for me is usually dinner. I only take it once as it is quite pricey 😬
⊖ Breakdowns
What are you concerned about? What went wrong?
Still struggling to hit my daily water goal, but I will keep trying. It will happen, I know it 🫣

Reflect on your progress this week …
Did you average 85% or better on your tactics completion rate this week? If not, what do you need to do differently to achieve this level next week?
Hit over 91.83%! We’re getting closer and closer to that 100% … 😌 I got my eye on that 🎯
This week’s focus: Hit my water goal every day. I’m still struggling with this, so I’m making it my sole focus this week—everything else is on track, so let’s lock this in. 💪✨
As I step into Week 4, I am embracing this lyric from 16 carriages:
“Goin’ so hard, gotta choose myself.” – Beyoncé, “16 CARRIAGES”
At the end of the day, I know it’s hard. It’s overwhelming, especially when you’re trying to juggle work, family, friends, and still find time for yourself. But I’ve realized that for me to be happy and to be the best I can be for everyone else, I have to put myself first. Whenever I do that, everything else just seems to fall into place.
